South Carolina's newest campus, the Hilton Head Gateway campus is on US 278 in Bluffton, just minutes from I-95.It offers students a centrally located, 200-acre campus with new facilities including state of the art science labs, South Carolina's newest library with its own cybercafé, and a Campus Center with dining, recreational and fitness facilities, all within easy driving distance to Savannah, Charleston and Hilton Head Island's resorts and restaurants.
The Hilton Head Gateway Campus also offers on-campus, residential living in PalmettoVillage, which opened in 2005.Its spacious, four-bedroom apartments are fully furnished with high speed internet, cable and phone service.The complex also provides TV and game rooms and convenient parking.Living on campus is a safe and convenient option for those who want to meet others, join in activities and get to class on time.
Both Campuses offer small classes, plenty of parking, flexible schedules, cutting edge technology, easy access to the beach, reasonable tuition*, scholarships and financial aid, an array of student services, undergraduate research opportunities and an exceptional faculty.

Military Classes
Military personnel, military family members, and civilians take courses on both military bases as well as the Historic Beaufort and Hilton Head Gateway Campuses. The on-base, general education classes lead to either an Associate in Arts or an Associate in Science. Upper-level courses leading to baccalaureate degrees can be taken at Historic Beaufort and Hilton Head Gateway.For over fifty years, military personnel and their families have earned transfer credits and degrees at USC Beaufort.
In addition to its fall and spring sixteen-week semesters, USC Beaufort offerseight-week semesters at the Marine Corps Air Station and Parris Island and in the evening and summer offerings at Historic Beaufort and Hilton Head Gateway. These intensive semesters begin in January, March, June, August, and October.
