FRESHMAN
A student who is completing or has completed a high school or secondary school education and has not taken a college or university course after graduating from high school.
Accepted Freshman 2010-11
TRANSFER
An applicant who, having graduated from high school, has attended another regionally accredited postsecondary institution and attempted one or more courses.

INTERNATIONAL FRESHMAN
A student who is neither a US citizen or a US permanent resident and is completing or has completed high school or secondary and has not taken a college or university course after high school completion.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER
A student who is neither a US citizen or a US permanent resident and has taken a college or university course after graduating from high school or secondary school.
NON-DEGREE SEEKING
Students who wish to attend USCB for one semester or on a limited basis as a special or transient student, can be classified as a non-degree seeking student. Non-degree status limits students to 30 credit hours and does not guarantee future enrollment at USCB. Students classified under this status are not eligible for any type of Financial Aid.
READMIT
Students who have previously taken course(s) at USCB or any other USC campus as a degree-seeking student.
CONCURRENT
Students who are currently in high school and wish to take USCB courses while completing their high school course work.
TRANSIENT
Students who wish to take a course at USCB and then return to their home institution.
