 Student Life February Events

February 8th: 

Make a choclate lolli-pop and give it to your sweety or just to fix that sweet tooth you've having lately.  You can make your own choclate lolli-pops in front of the Sandbar from 11am-3pm.

CoffeeHouse "Change for Change," featuring musician Rachel Loy. Come out and have some coffee lounging around and talking to your friends listening to some great music.

Donate your Blood to the Blood drive that will  be here on campus for your convience. There are many other peoepl that are in need you our help. This is the time to help your community.

February 11th:

Do you really want to laugh? Well comedian Rob O' Reilly can definitly make you laugh to tears. He will be preforming in RM 156 in Hargray at 7:30pm.

 

Recreation Events

TRAINING CLASSES AT THE GYM

Recreation now provides classes to get you healthier and in shape

  • Yoga: This class will provide a well-rounded hour of yoga practice, with many influences from many yoga styles. Students of all levels, from experienced yogis to newcomers are all welcomed. Classes will be challenging and uplifting, and will focus on strengthening and increasing flexibility. A typical class will consist of centering and warm-up motions, a flowing standing series, balancing postures, stretches and core strengthening, and stress release. Come and discover the mind and body benfits that yoga can offer. Bring your mat if you have one!
  • Bootcamp Traning:This is an outdoor fitness program that includescutting edge fitness instruction, nutritional education, and team motivation. Using supportive and inspirational routines, we will lead you through an intense workout designed to put you in the best shape of your life. Each camp is packed with a series of fun, ever-changing excersises specifically to tone, strengthen, and increase your cardio fitness. We will take you thorugh an energizing mix of cardio, calisthenics, and resistance training circuits. You'll have a blast with the obstacle course, sports drills, agility and power drills, stair climbs, partner drills, sport yoga, and more. Bring your own hand weights and may if you have them.
  • Ultimate Body Sculpting:This hour long class is sure to give you a full body workout. A combination of stregth, flexibility and cardio are used to confuse your muscles-giving you a harder workout and faster results. Bring water and get ready to sweat! Bring your own hand weights and mat if you have them.
