3. Performing arts can galvanize the community by bringing diverse groups together for a common goal and by doing so supports a diversity of cultural values.
4. Enabling the performing arts can motivate us to aspire to our dreams and encourage us to be enthusiastic lovers of the arts throughout life.
5. The performing arts encourage the power of imagination and critical thinking.
6. Providing young people an experience with the performing arts will give them opportunities to work cooperatively with others and will inspire them to lead more fulfilling lives.
7. We must be attentive stewards of our resources and alliances.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES 

1. Present professional theatre to entertain the community by offering a well rounded selection of performances on an annual basis. 
2. Develop a children's theatre to educate and enhance the area's children by encouraging them to be participants and enthusiastic lovers of the arts.
3. Offer Master Classes using visiting and resident artists to educate community members, attract people to visit for the master classes (supporting tourism) and enlighten youth with new skills and by meeting artists from other areas.
4. Facilitate the use of the theatre for community based groups who share our mission and reflect positively on BPA, Inc.  This includes groups such as the Beaufort Orchestra, USCB Wadsworth Series, and local or school theatre groups.                      
5. Develop strategic partnerships to expand the services and reach of BPA, Inc. and therefore its positive impact on the community.
