Share a Sand Shark
March 14, 2016
It’s not an unusual occurrence for small children in USCB’s bookstore to clamor over their plush Sand Shark. Most are lucky and leave clutching their new friend. And those that aren’t, for the most part, hide their disappointment admirably. Shark’s Cove Bookstore decided to share their plush mascot with children in a unique way.
Shark’s Cove Bookstore’s “Share a Shark!” promotion runs from March 14, 2016 through April 1, 2016. Spend $75 and receive a free Sand Shark. Keep your shark or donate it to The South Carolina Children’s Hospital Collaborative which represents the four children’s hospitals in South Carolina: Children’s Hospital, Greenville Health System, McLeod Children’s Hospital, MUSC Children’s Hospital and Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital.
USCB’s recent introduction of “Finnegan”, USCB’s kid-friendly mascot, to the USCB campus community also inspired Shark’s Cove Bookstore’s “Share a Shark!” promotion. Children respond unequivocally to the bookstore’s plush Sand Shark, and now, to “Fin” as well!
Shark’s Cove Bookstore, under the management of Barnes and Noble College, serves the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) campus community at the Hilton Head Gateway Campus.
