Spanish Writers Group to Present at USCB


BLUFFTON, SC, September 25–
The University of South Carolina Beaufort is pleased to host the Spanish Writers Group from Greenville, SC.  Their interactive presentation titled "Hispanica: Origins and Dreams of an Immigrant Culture," will take place on October 6 in the Hargray Building, Hargray Lobby on the Bluffton campus from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The event is open to the public.

Spanish Writers was founded by Juan Gonzales, and the group consists of poets, magazine writers, educators, novelists, college and community center teachers as well as students whose collective mission is the promotion of intercultural innovation through creative writing and community collaborations. Their work had been presented at Furman University and other institutions. The group aims to inspire the writing creativity of the Hispanic Community of the Lowcountry as well as from anyone who has an interest in the Spanish Language or the Hispanic Culture.
