Davis Folsom (Ph.D. University of Connecticut, 1979) is professor of economics and business administration. Dr. Folsom previously taught at USC Aiken and the College of Charleston before coming to USCB in 2000. He originally came to South Carolina as a Clemson University fisheries economist.
Dr. Folsom teaches traditional economics courses including microeconomics, macroeconomics and consumer economics. He also offers specialty courses including the Beaufort Economy: Past, Present and Future, and Current and Classic economics and Business books.
Dr. Folsom will be on sabbitical for the academic year 2009-2010.
