BSN Major Curriculum
Students accepted in the BSN major must abide by the following:A grade of “C” is required in all courses.
Nursing courses (total 66 - 69 credits)* are to be completed in five semesters:
- Intro to Professional Nursing
- Adult Health I
- Health Assessment
- Clinical Pharmacology
- Biophysical Pathology
- Nursing Research
- Women’s Health Nursing
- Children’s Health Nursing
- Health Care Delivery Systems
- Mental Health Nursing
- Community Health Nursing
- Gerontological and Rehabilitation
- Trends and Issues in Nursing
- Professional Leadership and Management
- Adult Health Nursing II
- Professional Nursing Seminar
- Transcultural Health (or Medical Anthropology)
Students in the BSN major are required to perform certain skills requiring specific abilities. See the Department of Nursing BSN Student Handbook for a listing of these abilities.
* Total hours required for graduation = 127 credits
