After Acceptance - Freshmen and Transfer Students

We are excited that you've decided to attend USCB and we're looking forward to having you join our University family. But first, there are some important steps you need to take to become a USCB student. This site will help guide you through the enrollment process.

IMPORTANT STEPS TO ENROLL:

Step 1:
Submit your Intent to Enroll Form.

If you're ready to enroll at USCB, please confirm your intent to enroll at www.uscb.edu/enroll.

Step 2:
Submit a USCB Housing Application, Roommate Matching Form and the $250 non-refundable processing fee.

All first year degree seeking students under the age of 20 are required to live on campus. Exceptions will only be made if you provide the proper supporting documentation. For more information, visit the USCB Housing Web site or contact the USCB Housing office at housing@uscb.edu or by phone at 843.208.USCB (8722).

Step 3:
Remember to file for financial aid.

We recommend you apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than April 15, 2011. You may do this on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  USCB school code – 003450

Step 4:
Attend our Orientation Program.

Orientation will be held during the summer in June, July and August. Orientation is mandatory for all new freshmen. At Orientation you will have the opportunity to meet with a financial aid counselor, talk with current and new USCB students, learn about campus and residence life, meet faculty and staff and get to know your new University! Visit the Orientation information page.

Additional Steps to Remember:

Immunization Form - USCB requires a complete immunization record for all students. Your immunization form must be completed and returned to the Student Services Office prior to enrollment.  Meningitis vaccinations are required for students living on campus.
Submit Official Final High School Transcript - After high school graduation, with graduation date printed on the transcript.
Placement Exam - All students are required to take an English and Math Placement Exam before registering for classes. We are in the process of streamlining and automating this process. Information on USCB's Placement Exams will be available here and mailed to you in Mid-May.
Residency Form - For students attempting to receive in-state tuition, including GA residents.
Citizenship Verification Form - Students must now provide proof of citizenship before being allowed to enroll in classes at the University.
