Hard work should pay off. At USCB, it does. We offer scholarships exclusively to new or incoming USCB students, most of which are based on academic achievements and individual potential. Many of these are sponsored by individuals and organizations from the Lowcountry—right here in our backyard—who believe in USCB and the experience we provide.
Academic Program Scholarships
At USCB, we’ve earned a solid reputation for academic excellence. A big reason for this, in addition to our outstanding programs and faculty, is the quality of students we’re able to attract. And one way we attract those top students is by offering scholarships based on areas of academic interest.
Chartwells Hospitality Management Scholarship is an annual $1,000 award for new or transfer students who plan on majoring in hospitality management. The scholarship is based on excellent academic achievements and a strong extracurricular record. It’s renewable each year as long as recipients maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Computational Science Scholarships-USCB offers a range of scholarship options available to Computational Science students, both current and prospective, including: National Science Foundation (NSF) S-STEM Scholarships and USCB-funded scholarships for new and transfer students who possesses excellent academic achievements and a strong extracurricular record. These scholarships, ranging from $1,000-$5,000 a year, are renewable as long as recipients maintain a 3.0 GPA. Studio Art Scholarships are annual $1,000 awards for students who plan on majoring in studio art. The scholarships are based on the applicant’s talents and potential in the arts as determined by a cumulative review of their portfolio and sample artwork. They are renewable each year to recipients who maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Each year, USCB offers merit-based athletic scholarships to promising student-athletes. Athletic scholarships are handled on a sport-by-sport basis, and student athletes interested in receiving an athletic scholarship should contact the head coach of that particular sport.
