How are USCB's two campuses different?

The Hilton Head Gateway campus is USCB's newest campus, located only 20 minutes from the beaches on Hilton Head Island, ten minutes from old town Bluffton, and 30 minutes from Savannah GA.  This campus is modern with apartment-style living available to students.  The majority of students who attend USCB take classes on this campus.

A 30 minute drive form the main campus, the Historic Beaufort campus dates back to 1795 and houses USCB's Studio Art program.  Students living on this campus take advantage of the beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the opportunity to walk with friends to quaint shops, art galleries, and restaurants.  Most students who choose to live in the Grace White House on this campus are Studio Art majors.

How much does USCB cost?

USCB is the lowest-priced four-year public baccalaureate institution in the state of South Carolina.

What is the average class size at USCB?

Small classes are the norm at USCB, with an average class size of 18.  At USCB students are always taught by professors, not teaching assistants.

What kinds of clubs and organizations does USCB have?

With more than 30 clubs and organizations, chances are USCB has a group for you!  From intramural athletics to Anime & Games club, the Gay-Straight Alliance, Gamma Beta Phi Honor society, and many more, USCB students have ample opportunity to get involved on campus.  The choice is up to you!

What Athletic teams does USCB have?

Sand Shark Athletes compete in baseball, softball, track & field (men and women), cross country (men and women), golf (men and women), and women's soccer. Sand Shark Athletics is part of the NAIA Sun Conference.

What majors does USCB offer?

Between majors, minors, and concentrations, USCB has over 30 programs of study. 

Does USCB offer any degrees online?

Yes, USCB offers a degree in Human Services that can be completely entirely online. For more information on this program, please contact program coordinator Dr. Randy Lamkin or Academic Advisor Zulema Ibarra.
