Are the requirements different for first-year and transfer students?
Who qualifies a student for in-state tuition?
- If you have lived in South Carolina for 12 consecutive months, you will qualify for in-state tuition.
- Residents of nearby Savannah, G.A. (Chatham, Effingham and Bryan counties) can also take advantage of in-state tuition rates offered at USCB.
- Active Duty Military and their Dependents who provide copies of their orders to South Carolina qualify for in-state tuition.
