You probably have the same questions about applying to USCB as other prospective international students.  Below are some of the most common ones, but if you still have questions please send them to admissions@uscb.edu. We are happy to help you discover if USCB is the right fit for you.

What is the recommended application timeline for international students?

Although the application deadline is Friday, August 1, 2014, international students are encouraged to begin the application process as early as February

Is there anything special I need to do with my international transcripts?

Yes, all international transcripts must be evaluated through an evaluation service such as World Education Services and Josef Silny & Associates, Inc., or any agency certified through NACES.

Do I have to take the TOEFL?

If you are a first-year student, you are required to take the TOEFL.  The only exceptions are if your native language is English or you have attended a school where the primary language of instruction is English.

The minimum scores required on the TOEFL:

  • 550 Paper Test
  • 213 Computer-Based
  • 77 Internet-Based

As international transfer student, will my courses will transfer?

The process of evaluating transferring credit is the same for international students.
