Living on campus is a great way for students to get connected to the institution, both academically and socially. All of our staff members are here to promote the academic success and personal development of our students. The overall goal of the Housing program is to provide a supportive, high-quality environment that promotes the educational goals and values of the University and is conducive to student learning. Staff members develop and promote program ideas, services and staff interactions that encourage student development with an emphasis on individual responsibility. Efforts are directed towards establishing a community where there is an appreciation of individuals and a respect for his/her rights. Services are provided with an understanding of, and a commitment to quality with regard to fairness, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
APPLICATION MATERIALS FOR FALL 2012
ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH VIP from 10am-12am (midnight)
The priority deadline for Fall 2012 for May 1, 2012.
To get prepared, please read over these helpful tips.
- You will need to login into VIP, so make sure you know how to login and have the correct password.
- You will need to return your "Intent to Enroll" form as soon as possible. Why? The Intent to Enroll form means you will attend USCB and gives you access to VIP.
- If you WANT TO REQUEST ROOMMATES, you MUST HAVE each person's USCB email and know the correct spelling of their last name. Please gather this information prior to starting the online application.(Your USCB email can be found under the Technology tab in your VIP account.)
- In VIP, you can look up your USCB email address. Make sure you know how to login and your email is working correctly. All Housing confirmations and information including roommates will be sent to your USCB email.
- The Room Reservation and Application Fee must be paid to complete the application. The fees are $250 and can be paid online at the end of the application with a credit or debit card. If you choose to pay by check, the application will not be completed until the check is received and processed.
