Parking and Event Services

Parking
All parking will be designated on the campus maps.

Student Parking
Student parking lots are indicated on the Historic Beaufort and Hilton Head Gateway Campus maps. 

Visitor parking
Visitor parking spaces are available on both the Historic Beaufort and Hilton Head Gateway Campus. Visitors to the Historic Beaufort Campus should pick up a parking pass in the Business Office in the Sandstone Building.  Visitors to the Hilton Head Gateway Campus should pick up a parking pass in the Business Office in the Hargray Building.

Handicap Parking
Reserved Handicap Parking spaces are available on the Historic Beaufort and Hilton Head Gateway Campus. Students, Faculty, or Visitors parking in handicap reserved spaces must display a handicap hang tag or license plate. Cars without proper tags will be towed.

Requirements for requesting security services for special events
The following will apply to all USC Beaufort functions and other community functions held on the USC Beaufort Campus requiring security.

The Vice Chancellor for Finance and Operations and the Director of Public Safety will determine the number of officers needed to adequately support the function.

A minimum of 2 weeks notice of special events will be required to allow for schedule changes to accommodate the personnel needs.

Security personnel will be provided one (1) hour before and will remain one (1) hour after an event.  Fees for the services of the security personnel will be specified in the agreement between the community agency and the University.
