Critical Dates
All fees must be paid by the appropriate deadline to avoid the possible cancellation of your classes. If you wish to cancel your registration, you must do so at vip.sc.edu BEFORE the term begins to cancel all charges. You may incur charges if you are registered for a class, but fail to drop the class by the appropriate deadline. After the term begins, please consult the refund schedule to insure you drop/withdraw during the 100% refund period to avoid any charges.

Students who register after the fee payment deadline must pay fees at time of registration. Late fees of $5.00 per day will be assessed after the fee payment deadline.
Financial aid awards must be applied to any appropriate balance before the fee payment deadline. If your financial aid is not available by the fee payment deadline, you are responsible for paying your fees and being reimbursed by any subsequent financial aid awards.
If your financial aid award is pending, you must clear all exceptions before the award may be applied to any balance due. If you have a balance due after all financial aid awards are available, you must pay the balance due by the appropriate deadline before the financial aid awards are applied to your tuition bill.
Financial Aid Disbursement
Overage checks are now being direct deposited. If you are not currently signed up for direct deposit, please select the link at the bottom of the page to download the direct deposit form. Parent Plus loan overage checks will be mailed to the parent at the address that was entered on the Plus loan applicaiton. Students receiving aid based on enrollment in Summer I and Summer II classes will not receive any overage checks until tuition for all terms has been paid.

Starting in Fall 2011, financial aid overage checks were direct deposited to a student's checking account. Electronic Check Transfer (ECT) provides automatic deposit of funds resulting from Financial Aid and Scholarship awards that exceed the amount owed to the University. If you are not already signed up for direct deposit, please fill out the form below and return it to the Cashier/ Bursar's Office no later than Friday May 10th for the Summer 2013 semester. For students who do not have checking accounts, the overage checks will be mailed.
