Certificate in Professional/Business Spanish
The University of South Carolina Beaufort’s Certificate in Professional/Business Spanish serves working professionals by enhancing their foreign language skills, their understanding of Latino cultures and understanding of the challenges and realities of doing business internationally.

Entrance Requirements:
Individuals who wish to earn the certificate in Spanish apply to USCB as a either non-degree seeking or as degree seeking students. They must meet the admissions requirements noted in the course descriptions.
Completion Requirements:
An overall grade point average of 2.0 is required for the achievement of the certificate. The certificate will be issued by the Department Chair of the Department of Humanities and Fine Arts and will not appear on student’s official record.
Certificate in Hispanic Studies/Culture
The University of South Carolina Beaufort also offers a certificate in Hispanic Studies/Culture which enables the student to focus less on Spanish in business contexts and more on a broader understanding of Hispanic cultures.
