Hospitality Management Certificates
Application to the certificate program requires admission as a degree seeking student. Acceptance into the certificate program requires review of a resume and determination of the candidate’s suitability by the department. Basic computer familiarity, that is, an understanding of the Microsoft Office suite, is necessary. Otherwise, BMGS 290 may be required.
Completion Requirements: Certificates in Hospitality will be awarded upon completion with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Certificates are available to post-baccalaureate students, or students that are concurrently enrolled in a regular baccalaureate program.
CERTIFICATE IN PRIVATE CLUB MANAGEMENT
Program Title: Private Club Management Certificate
Credit Hours: 15 (5 COURSES)
Course Options:
A specialization in club management will prepare students for careers in Private Club Management. This certificate can be acquired by completing the following 15 hours of coursework (each course listed below is 3 credit hours):
- BHRM 110 Introduction to Hospitality Industry
- BHRM 285 Club Management
- BHRM485 Advanced Club Management
- BHRM 475 Wine, Spirits, Beers, and Non-Alcoholic Beverages in Food Service Establishments
