USCB's Business Administration program is the university's largest major and includes courses in Accounting, Business Communication, Business Law & Ethics, Economics & Finance, Human Resource Management, International Issues, Management & Leadership, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Production/Operations Management, Research Methods & Statistics, Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management.

Accounting

Earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting prepares students to enter a field with robust demand.  Many graduates go on to become certified public accountants(CPA), certified management accountants (CMA), certified fraud examiners (CFE) and certified internal auditors (CIA). 

Full time Program of Study - Accounting

Management 

The management concentration prepares students to start their own successful business or thrive in an existing organization.  Our program covers business analytics, entrepreneurship, general management, human resources management, international management, management information systems, operations management or supply chain management.

Marketing 

USCB Student Entrepreneurs

From conducting market research to developing strategic concepts and branding, students who earn a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing take courses in consumer behavior, international marketing, advertising, social media marketing, sports marketing and other topics.

Study Business Administration NOW (Nights, Online, Weekends)

USCB offers the NOW Business Degree Plan for students who want to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in less than 2 years. With its complete-business management approach, the curriculum emphasizes leadership, business operations, ethics, social responsibility and strategic thinking.

The course of study focuses on key business functions such as marketing, finance and operations and fosters a better understanding of crucial management issues—leadership, human resources, innovation and strategic management.

Double Concentration

Students have the ability to complete the requirements for two concentrations (e.g., Management and Marketing) that will be listed on their transcripts upon graduation. To earn a double concentration, students take 5 courses required in each concentration, and may count 3 of the classes from one concentration towards their Business electives. Students must work with their advisor to declare a double concentration.

Minor in Business Administration

Many USCB students from other disciplines minor in Business Administration. ECON B221 and ACCT B225 are required and should be taken before the remaining courses. To earn a minor in Business Administration, choose any four from the following:

ACCT B226, BADM B345, BADM B363, BADM B383, MKTG B350, MGMT B371, MGMT B374, MGMT B376 or MGMT B473. Students are strongly encouraged to consult their advisors before declaring a minor.
