The $101 Prize

The English 101 Award for Outstanding Scholarship

Students in all fall sections of English 101 are eligible to win the annual $101 Prize. English 101 faculty may select one research paper from each of their sections of English 101 to nominate for this $101 award.

Faculty must submit the essay to Dr. Hoffer of the Department of English and Theatre by December 31. Submissions must include contact information for the student being nominated and the name of the English 101 instructor for whom the essay was originally submitted.

The winner will be selected by a committee of English faculty.
