Create in the Innovative Media Center
Through the Sand Shark Center for Innovative Media, students love a challenge and the opportunity to create solid, innovative communication strategies and tactics. This faculty-led and student-centered media agency provides community services including:
- video production
- public relations strategies
- communications research
- social media initiatives
- media relations and training
- development communications
Part of the Sand Shark Center for Innovative Media is the Innovative Media Center, located in USCB's Bluffton Campus library. Funded by the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, the Innovative Media Center is open to students majoring in Communication Studies, Business, Interdisciplinary Studies, Public Health, Media Arts, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology and English.
Technology and Equipment in the Innovative Media Center
The Innovative Media Center offers Mac computers outfitted with Adobe Creative Cloud, podcasting stations and video editing stations. Students are able to check out video cameras, mobile media kits and podcasting equipment.
