Sand Shark Activities Board

#1 MISSION: Taking a bite out of boredom… one activity at a time!

WHAT is the Sand Shark Activities Board?

There are many hours in the week that you are not in class and our goal is to fill those hours with fun and educational activities! College can be extremely overwhelming with classes, jobs, roommates and learning to live on your own. We recognize the importance of not only academics but the social aspect of building community, education outside of the classroom as well as the most important element…. having fun and getting involved on campus! The Sand Shark Activities Board, a group of students is here to provide different events/programs throughout the semester. These programs are chosen by and executed by the Sand Shark Activities Board.

The Sand Shark Activities Board Meets every other Wednesday at 6pm. The meetings are casual and give students opportunities to sign up to help with events or bring new event ideas to the table. Our programs run throughout the entire year and times vary. Many of our night programs begin at 7:30(but not all of them!) and many of our daytime programs run between the hours of 10:30am-2pm. We recognize that student's availability varies, so we try to do programming as often and all throughout the day/night to accommodate your needs!
