All maintenance requests are to be submitted here. All submitted request will be addressed in 24-48 hours.
Each resident is assigned an individual mailbox for their use as long as they reside
in university housing. Residential students will be issued a key to access the mailbox.
The Housing Office will accept any package delivered for a residential student that
cannot fit into the mailbox.
Students will be notified by the Housing Office if a package is delivered for them.
Packages can be picked up at the Housing Office between 8:30am - 5pm Monday through
Friday. A photo ID must be presented at time of pick-up.

All USCB Residence Halls allow guests and overnight visitation during specified times
throughout the week. There is a maximum of 3 consecutive days for an overnight stay.
The same guest may stay overnight a maximum of 24 days per semester. For overnight
guests, a form must be completed (including guest vehicle information if driving),
signed by all roommates and returned to housing 24 hours before your guest arrives.
Please note that no overnight guest under the age of 14 are allowed. A "guest" is
described as anyone who does not live in that apartment. Overnight guest forms are
available in the Housing Office during business hours or online here.
Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, Jasper, May River, Okatee,and Port Royal
- Guest visitation is allowed 7 days a week from 8am to 12midnight
- OVERNIGHT visitation permitted Thursday through Sunday at 11:59pm
Chechessee, Combahee, and Broad River
- Guest visitation is allowed 7 days a week from 8am to 12midnight
- OVERNIGHT visitation permitted 7 days a week (maximum and consecutive day guidelines
still apply)
Students planning to remain in their room, return early from Thanksgiving, Winter,
or Spring break, or be in the residence hall during any portion of the break period,
must complete a break request form and have Housing approval to gain access to the
hall. No student is permitted to be in the residence hall during any portion of break time
without getting their break request approved by Housing.
Please understand the following rules apply for all break periods:
- Students must complete the break request form, provide necessary documentation and
have it approved by Housing prior to the start of break.
- Thanksgiving Deadline, Nov. 18
- Winter Break Deadline, Dec. 9 (Note: No students will be allowed to stay between Dec.
21, 2016-Jan. 2, 2017)
- Spring Break Deadline, Feb. 24
- Students may not have visitors, other than USCB students who also have permission
to stay in the hall during the break periods.
- No overnight guests are permitted without written permission from housing
- Students found in violation of these rules or any Housing policy will be asked to
leave the campus immediately and not permitted to return until the end of the break
period.

It is important to perform a channel scan on your TV to ensure you are viewing all
the available analog and digital channels. Exact details on how to auto program or
auto tune digital TVs vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and from model to model.
For best results, refer to the owner's manual. Most TVs will take between 20-45 minutes
to complete this function.
Using the TV's remote control, follow these general steps:
- Step 1: Press the "Power" button to turn on the TV
- Step 2: Press the "Menu" Button
- Step 3: Select "Set-Up"
- Step 4: Select "Antenna" then "Cable"
- Step 5: Select "Auto Program/Auto Tune/Channel Scan" then "OK"
