Instructor of Mathematics
I have been an Instructor of Mathematics at USCB since Fall of 2024. I have two BS degrees, one in General Science from Calcutta University, India in 1988 and the other one in Mathematics with Physics minor from University of Nevada, Reno in 1995. I have two MS degrees, one in Resource and Applied Economics from University of Nevada, Reno in 1999 and one in Mathematics with concentration in Applied Mathematics from Georgia Southern University in 2018.
I started my career with a job in a private industry in Nevada. I switched to a faculty job at Higher Education from the Fall of 2003. USCB is my fourth academic institution which I am affiliated with. I have been teaching junior level college mathematics classes which align with my professional interest. My goal is to maximize the students’ success when they are having the critical transition from high school to college. I have coauthored a textbook on Numerical Methods which is currently being used. Also, I have written an informal guidebook for COMPASS examination. Additionally, I have published scholarly articles and present at conferences.
