I am an instructor of nursing at USCB, where I am the course coordinator and instructor for Care of Childbearing Families, Clinical Care of Childbearing Families, and The Science of Evidence-Based Practice. I also teach the pre-nursing course Concepts, Communication, and Calculations, and co-teach Clinical Care of Adults with Acute and Chronic Health Conditions. Additionally, I am the faculty advisor for the Student Nurses Association.

Before working at USCB I spent many years working at women’s centers in Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Triage, and Newborn Nursery. I’ve also worked as a hospital clinical educator, in the patient services, medical office, and physical therapy fields.

I am currently finishing my DNP in Community and Public Health Nursing from USC-Upstate. I received my MSN in Education from Union University in 2019, my BS in Nursing from Bellarmine University in 2013, and my BS in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University in 2008.

I live with my amazing husband and two awesome kids. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, doing arts and crafts, Legos, and puzzles.
