The Budget Office seeks to provide a sound financial basis upon which USCB can achieve its mission of providing high quality instruction, research and public service to its customers and operate within the budget limitations established by the General Assembly and the Board of Trustees.
USCB's fiscal year runs from July 1 – June 30. Our tuition and fees are approved each year at the June meeting of the Board of Trustees and our appropriation is set by the S.C. Legislature (usually in June).
Proposed new fees need to be approved internally by Feb. 1 before the fall term when they may implemented. The Board of Trustees must approve all new fees (parking, testing fees, lab fees, etc.).
