MISSION STATEMENT -
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at USCB is devoted to providing quality, intellectually stimulating, not-for-credit, educational opportunities and experiences to the citizens of the Lowcountry.

WHO CAN JOIN?
Any adult who is interested in lifelong learning is welcome to join. THERE ARE NO AGE OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS. Backgrounds may differ, but all participants share a desire to keep intellectually active.
WHAT ARE THE BENFITS OF MEMBERSHIP?
OLLI members have access to numerous benefits that enrich life here in the Lowcountry. Members enjoy a discount with Metropolitan Opera tickets at the Historic Beaufot Campus, (Center For The Arts). access to the USCB library, OLLI trips, cyper café and special events. Members also have access to more than 400 OLLI courses and special programs offered annually. Members can register for any number of courses at any location for one price. Members receive monthly OLLI newsletters that also promote other special programs within the USCB family. HOW ARE WE ORGANIZED?
The program is organized and planned by its curriculum committees and everyone is encouraged to contribute in some way. You may teach or facilitate a course, be a class assistant, serve on the curriculum committee, help in the office or perform other tasks. Working together maintains a high-quality program at a reasonable cost. A good way to first become involved is to serve as a class assistant. These valuable members hand out materials, make announcements, set up equipment, and assist instructors in many important ways.
WHAT KIND OF CLASSES DO WE OFFER?
We offer a wide variety of classes—philosophy, history, art, music, current events, political issues, religion, science, literature, languages, and many others. Our classes are very popular. There are over 1,400 members who register for more than 13,500 hours of class time. We have three Terms; Fall (September - December), Winter/Spring (January -May) and a lighter Summer Session (June-July).

HOW ARE THE COURSES SCHEDULED?
Classes are offered in two 14 week terms (Fall & Winter/Spring) and a short summer session that runs from June into July. Classes and instructors have been selected by the Curriculum Committees and the USCB Continuing Education office personnel. OLLI also offers special educational lectures and events during the year that are open to the public.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We are the best educational bargain around! Annual Membership Fee $35/year
Individuals can join at any time throughout the year and membership is renewed annually.
Registration Fee To Take UNLIMITED Classes- Fall-$85; Spring-$85
This entitles you to attend as many courses as you desire in each term of registration.
WHERE ARE THE OLLI COURSES?
OLLI has four regions; University of South Carolina Bluffton Campus, University of South Carolina Beaufort Campus, Hilton Head Pineland Station Mall and Jasper Park. OLLI courses are offered in each region. As an OLLI member and class registrant, you can take unlimited classes in any of the four regions.
