USCB Biology student and Magellan Scholar awardee Mikala Kiefer and her research mentor Dr. Jena Chojnowski look for regenerative markers in corneal eye cells that drive human eye health and maintenance. This biomedical research being done at USCB will help with developing cures for degenerative vision diseases like aniridia.
