USC Beaufort, serving the Lowcountry with the Historic Beaufort Campus and the Hilton Head Gateway Campus, is always looking for qualified part-time (adjunct) faculty to enrich its newly authorized baccalaureate-level academic programs.  Minimum qualifications for teaching in the academic programs are a doctor's or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).  A terminal degree is preferred.  These appointments are on a course by course basis.  Salary is commensurate with education, experience and discipline.  These postings are continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates.  If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of USCB at any time, you will be contacted by the Department Chair/Program Director to discuss proposed teaching opportunities.  These needs change from semester to semester.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute - This program is organized and planned by its curriculum committees and everyone is encouraged to contribute in some way. You may teach or facilitate a course, be a class assistant, serve on the curriculum committee, help in the office or perform other tasks. Working together maintains a high-quality program at a reasonable cost. A good way to first become involved is to serve as a class assistant.
