Dr. Xiaomei Zhang is an assistant professor of computational science at the University of South Carolina Beaufort. She received the bachelor degree in electrical engineering from University of Science and Technology of China in 2010 and the PhD degree in computer science and engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2016. Her research interests mainly include mobile computing, mobile social networks, wireless communications and data science. Her research focuses on design, analysis and implementation of mobile network systems to achieve efficient data access and computation in mobile networks,. Other than this, she also does researches on data mining and data-centric computing based on online social networks.
