Graduation with Leadership Distinction in Community Engagement (GLDCE) demonstrates that a graduate has extensively engaged in the Students Connected program, putting forth substantial effort to understand issues facing the community and applying their learning to improve it. GLDCE is a formal distinction recognized and notated on graduates’ transcripts/diplomas. GLDCE is achieved when a student has completed all core, external, and professional requirements. Course Requirements 
1 Foundational Students Connected course                               3 credit hours 
1 Traditional Experiential Students Connected course        3 credit hours 
1 Community-Partnered Students Connected course          3 credit hours 
1 Capstone Students Connected course*                                      1 credit hour       
 
10 credit hours total coursework

* An independent study may be substituted for the capstone.
