Welcome to Campus Recreation at USCB

Campus Recreation provides opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage in physical activities to create healthy lifestyles.

Bluffton Campus | The Sand Shark Recreation Center sits adjacent to the library and includes a fitness center, group exercise room, athletic training room, and gymnasium (2 basketball/volleyball courts). Campus Rec also offers an outdoor basketball court, two tennis courts, and a sand volleyball court. The fitness center is open from early morning to night and features Precor cardio equipment, free weights, power racks, and multiple selectorized machines. Adjoining the recreation center are four acres of lit field space for student intramurals, club sports, and general recreation.

The recreation center is also the headquarters for Sand Shark Athletics - all coaching staff and athletics' administrative staff have offices in the recreation center.

Beaufort Campus | Campus Recreation is housed in the newly renovated 1100 Boundary building and includes a cardio room, weight room, and gymnasium (2 basketball/volleyball courts). Campus Recreation is open six days a week for fitness and open recreation play.

Bluffton Campus:
Monday - Thursday | 8am - 11pm
Friday | 8am - 9pm
Saturday | 9am - 3pm
Sunday | 11am - 11pm
*Sand Shark ID required for fitness center and basketball gym

Beaufort Campus: 1100 Boundary
Monday - Thursday | 8am - 10pm
Friday | 8am - 5pm
Saturday | 11am-3pm
Sunday | Closed

Recreation Events

Periodically, Campus Recreation puts on special events to bring unique recreation opportunities to the USCB community. From climbing walls to cornhole and Spike Ball tournaments, these activities offer fun for students of all athletic levels and interests.
