Rain/Weather Plan
Spring 2024 Commencement is planned to be held outdoors on the Library Plaza on the Bluffton Campus. USCB's tradition of an outdoor ceremony provides a beautiful backdrop for a memorable event, however, if it is determined that weather-related activities may prevent the ceremony from being conducted safely, alternative plans will be made and communicated to the graduates.
USCB continously monitors the weather with the National Weather Service in Charleston, SC. They provide daily forecast updates for the region and USCB utilizes those forecasts to determine any potential weather/safety issues for Commencement. If the decision is made to move the event, notication will be made to all graduates as early as possible.
