USCB's Fleet Management Office Oversees Transportation Needs
The Fleet Management Office was created to consolidate operations, inventory, maintenance costs, fuel costs, and vehicle purchasing for the USCB Automotive Fleet under one office.
Reservation Form
University departments should use the Fleet Reservation Form below to to reserve/arrange for the use of a university vehicle. The staff of the Fleet Management Office will receive your submission and contact you.
Golf Cart Driver Training

To be permitted to drive a USCB-owned golf cart on campus, an individual must hold a valid driver’s license. Individuals must first view the PowerPoint presentation below and pass a written exam, prior to receiving their on-road testing. This training is provided by the Fleet Management Office Staff.
Passenger Van Training

Faculty, staff and students who wish to receive Passenger Van Training (provided by the staff of this office) must hold a valid driver’s license. Applicants must:
- Provide a copy of their driver’s license to the Fleet Management Office. If you do NOT hold a valid driver’s license in South Carolina, provide a certified copy of your 10-year driver’s record from the state in which you are licensed
- View the power point presentation for this training
Applicants who approved will receive a letter from USC Parking & Transportation advising them of this approval. Approved applicants then receive on-road van driver training from a member of this office.
Motor Coach Buses

USCB owns two 56-passenger motor coach buses. These buses are primarily for transporting
USCB Student Athletic Teams. If other university departments wish to use one of the
buses for another activity that does not conflict with the transportation of an athletic
team, the department head or their designee must submit a vehicle reservation form
to the Fleet Management Office for review.
Motor coach bus requests require a minimum of 40 passengers for approval. If fewer
than 40 passengers will be transported, an alternative — such as a minibus from a
local transportation service — may be obtained.
